Te Awamutu Community Health Transport Trust is a volunteer-based organisation that
assists local people to get to health-related appointments in Hamilton.

Te Awamutu Health Shuttle is a service for residents of Te Awamutu and surrounding districts.
It is a charitable trust, operated by a Board and is supported by a Co-ordinator-Administrator.
All drivers and support personnel are volunteers.  

Service operates Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm, except public holidays

What we do:

The primary function is to take people to outpatient clinic appointments at Waikato Hospital,
private medical specialists, radiology services and other ancillary services in and around Hamilton.  
We transport people for admission to Braemar and Southern Cross Hospitals by arrangement. 

Transport of acute cases to Waikato Hospital Emergency Department is not part of the service,
nor are we able to accommodate people who wish to visit hospital patients.
